Welcome to the Unified Voice for Arizona's Rural Schools

Welcome to the Arizona Rural Schools Association. We at ARSA are dedicated to providing support to the leaders of Arizona’s rural and remote schools and supporting the communities they serve. Everyone at ARSA knows, from firsthand experience, the importance of the rural school to the communities they serve and that for most of our rural communities, the school district is the emotional heart of that community and also often the largest employer.

ARSA provides a unified voice for rural schools to our legislature, policy makers, and the public. We support the integrity of rural school districts and honor the educators who represent our rural schools and communities. 

As an affiliate of the National Rural Education Association (NREA), ARSA has a national reach as well. Our executive board members also serve in leadership positions in NREA. As Allen Pratt, NREA executive director says: 

The National Rural Education Association is a collection of state affiliates and rural stakeholders to share in a unified voice to help all rural schools and communities. The Arizona Rural Schools Association is a living example of this connection. Wes and the ARSA board lead by example in Arizona and help move the rural needle forward at the national level.
